Speaker Biography: Professor Xian-En Zhang

Xian-En ZHANG received his first degree in biology in Hubei University in 1982, and later MSc (microbiology) and PhD (biochemistry) in Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He became a full professor in Wuhan Institute of Virology, CAS in 1993. His research fields include analytical microbiology and molecular enzymology. He has published over 100 papers and 3 books of biosensors and biochips. He is the member of editorial board of Biosensors & Bioelectronics and Biocatalysis & Biotransformation, and acts as vice president of Chinese Society for Microbiologists. Now he serves in Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
