Biosensors 2014

Location

Biosensors 2014 will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) located on the banks of the Yarra River, only a short walk from Melbourne's central business district and a 20-minute drive from Melbourne Airport.

The capital city of Victoria, Melbourne is located on southern coast of south-eastern Australia at the mouth of the River Yarra.  Founded in 1835, the city prospered during the gold rush of the 1850s and became one of the world’s largest and wealthiest cities.

Often referred to as the "Garden City" and "cultural capital of Australia, the city is a cosmopolitan and lively cultural centre with major events and festivals, music, art, architecture, literature, film and television. It has been ranked as the world's most liveable city in ratings published by the Economist in 2011 and again in 2012. It has also ranked in the top ten Global University Cities by RMIT's Global University Cities Index (since 2006).
