The Congress will take place at the Peninsula Convention Centre of the Iberostar Cancun hotel.
The hotel is currently undergoing substantial renovations including refurbishing the main lobbies, the hotel lobby bar and building new terraces around the pools. In line with Iberostar’s exquisite culinary offerings, property updates will also include a new Gran Buffet and four specialty restaurants: gourmet, Japanese, steak house and Mexican.
The new Iberostar Cancun is a beachfront hotel with 426 fully-equipped rooms and villas, in additional to several suites. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s seven infinity pools, perfectly integrated into the surrounding gardens, in addition to a professional soccer field, two tennis courts, a luxurious spa, gym and beauty salon, among other services and amenities. It is the only hotel in Cancun with an 18-hole golf course – the perfect setting for guests to practice their swing with sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea.
The hotel complex boasts a 49,000 square-feet Convention Center offering the perfect space for the Biosensors 2012 Congress.
